Tonight we are transported to a Historic New England Estate, located just outside of Boston, The Dane Estate at Pine Manor College where photographer Danyel of Danyel Stapleton Photography captured a truly stunning inspirational shoot put together by Event Designer Jenny of Weddings Boston
This spectacular inspirational session was put together by the talented Jenny of Weddings Boston and draws inspiration from the breathtaking surrounds of the historical estate 'The Dane Estate' Utilising the rich dark architectural elements of the space to frame the delicate romantic softness of the ivory, peach and pink colour palette. The romantic whimsical feel was further heightened by the addition of stunning pastel florals by talented florists at Petals on Petals, that were carried by the girls and spilled from urns in a style reminiscent of the dutch masters.
“Roughwood” as the Estate was first named, was built in 1891 by Major William Cox along with two gatehouses, the stable, a barn, a greenhouse and chicken houses. In 1904, the Dane family purchased the estate and all its buildings, and over the years acquired additional land until the estate totaled 120 acres. A wing containing a music room was built in 1909, with the addition of an organ loft in 1916. Essentially, the property remained intact until it was acquired by Pine Manor College in 1962.
The event spaces in the mansion are comprised of the Ferry Foyer, the Foyer Terrace, the Moncrief Library, the Music Room (Founder’s Hall) and Founders Lawn. Each space offers a rich and varying style renowned for its dark wood, large windows, and spectacular architecture and immaculate craftsmanship and whether you are after a large or an intimate celebration, the elegant surroundings of The Dane Estate and picturesque grounds are the perfect setting for your special day.
The teams stunning brides, Margaret and Tash were a picture of fairytale romance in stunning gowns by designer Kelly Faetinini. The Kelly Faetanini brand has become synonymous with femininity, romance and the essence of a classic soul with a modern twist. Keeping her customers in mind, many of her gowns feature customizable beading, detachable necklines, and special corsetry technology for the perfect fit. The collection retails between $2,300 USD - $5,000 USD. Completing the bridal look was hair styling by Weddings by Kashmir, makeup artistry by Creative Contour by Carla and Jewelry from Every Bride
