A Bright and Colourful Desert Elopement

With the end of Autumn approaching here in Australia and the cooler winter months on their way, we decided to jump across to the other side of the world where the end of Springtime is heralding in the Summer sunshine, to take a look at what a desert springtime elopement could look like, and boy we were not disappointed!

Coordinated by, The Golden Girls Workshop, this gorgeous bohemian styled editorial session, captured by Beth Miller Photography, took place at The Boulders Grove Ranch in Yucca Valley, and The Pioneer Town Motel in California. The use of vibrant florals expertly styled by the team's floral designer, The Flower Gypsy, were set amongst the glorious desert landscape and had us wanting to lean into the our screens just to see if we could touch and smell them for ourselves. Not to mention the few minutes we took to see if we could afford a flight to check it out for ourselves! Alas, our frequent flyer miles aren't quite up to the task and we have added the Yucca Valley to our bucket list!

From the spectacular cake by Confection Deception to the eye catching stationery suite from Lahontan Letterworks this shoot had it all! However, we really think the star of this shoot, was the amazing lace wedding gown from The Reclamation Design Company! The teams bride, Sierra was a true bohemian princess in this flowing and dreamy design, her bridal look was completed with hair and makeup by Simply Stunning Artistry and jewelry from Knotty by Nature. Not to be outdone the teams dapper groom, Zeus rocked a pair of navy slacks with classic white shirt, braces and bow tie.

We invite you to sit back and relax as you enjoy the images from this beautiful styled editorial session. Don't forget to check out the list of vendors below and follow the links to discover some serious talent and inspiration for your big day!
