Sophisticated, timeless and dreamy are just a few words that come to mind to describe this stunning editorial session captured by Kate Freestone Photography. Hidden in an enchanted secret garden this editorial was inspired by the classical combination of the blush and ivory colour palette.
Chatting to the Teams stylist, Tammy from Darling Days, we discover that the inspiration and concept for the shoot came from the classic love stories like the 1920’s 'Great Gatsby' an era that never goes out of style. Taking the hard straight lines and textures of the period the team infused it with a soft romantic overtone that balanced out the harshness leaving just soft elegant textures set amongst a magical garden setting. The spectacular floral design for the session was created by the lovely Shiralee from Shiralee Archer drawing on the background of picturesque gardens she added a blooms of blush, ivory and delicate pinks and greenery to create the bridal parties florals and drew in the same tones and florals in a cascading style across the tablescape which heightened the overall look of elegance and opulence. When it came to cake design, Who Ate The Cake crafted a stunning an elegant two tiered white cake the embodied the elegant simplicity of the shoot.
The location for the shoot was none other than the picturesque Evanslea, set on the Cudgegong River amongst four and a half acres of pristine gardens this spectacular luxury boutique venue immerses you in utter elegance, style and relaxation from the moment you enter the grounds. Weddings at Evanslea are a private exclusive affair and are only able to be booked when the whole property is booked, providing couples with the exclusive use to enjoy with your nearest and dearest making this the ultimate garden venue for privacy and relaxation.
Katie-May the teams glowing bride was a vision in her stunning peach gown. Created by the teams extraordinarily talented Designer and Florist Shiralee of Shiralee Archer this gown is the perfect choice for a bride looking for a feminine yet contemporary gown that isn't the traditional white wedding dress. A stunning tea length ivory dress from Little Squirrel Baby was the perfect choice for the teams bridesmaid and both the bridal and bridesmaids look was completed with flawless glowing makeup created by the talented Nik from The Beauty Room Mudgee and a classic low and soft chignon by Candice Rose Hair
Not to be outdone, the teams stylish groom was dressed by Blowes Clothing in a classic navy blue suit with light baby blue textured tie and a simple yet stylish buttonhole perfectly matched to the brides bouquet.
Watercolour stationery and elegant place settings were created by stationer and graphic designer Pencil Pop Designs while the signage was added to the session by Mountain Signs The concept for the design was drawn from the sessions abundance of floral inspiration and executed in stunning complementary tones.
Our favourite detail of the shoot however, was the teams stunning flower girls, styled in adorable dresses by Little Squirrel Baby the girls stole the show with their adorable smiles and sweet floral crowns by Shiralee Archer
