This morning we venture into downtown Los Angles, to the ACE Hotel, where photographer, Ellen Williams of Who is Leading E, captured this stunning summer citrus brights inspired editorial session.
Like biting into a blood orange in the heat of summer, the bursts of bold colour from this editorial are delightfully refreshing. The team focused on a vibrant and bold palette that is traditionally overlooked as wedding colours and proved that bright and bold are equally as romantic and memorable as rainbow pastels or neutral pallets.
The warm touches of wood and vibrant citrus help to bring life to the concrete floors and walls of this trendy, iconic, downtown Los Angeles hotel while the incorporation of tropical rainforest vibes in the form of spectacular Birds of paradise, peeking out through layers of textural blooms and warm shades of currant, marigold and papaya that add layer upon layer of depth that are reminiscent of a tropical oasis.
The team's stunning bride, Layla, was styled in a spectacular gown from Cocomelody, and that featured a stunning embroidered fabric with subtle panel detailing across the skirt that flirts with the eye and pools elegantly at her feet. Laya's stunning bridal look was created by the talented Jenna Locke who styled her hair in a free softly curled style that cascaded across her shoulders and highlighted the stunning makeup artfully applied by Chelsea Joy and we are loving it! Not to be outdone the team's groom sported a modern tan jacket and grey trousers from Stitch & Tie and looked every inch the modern dapper gent, especially with that amazing floral tie, how amazing is it when grooms are styled in a way that breaks with tradition!
