Wintertide

It's #throwbackthursday in the office tonight and what better way to reminisce than to go back to this stunning editorial session that we published in our Summer Magazine earlier this year! If you missed it make sure you check out the full article below.

Set against the industrial beauty of the State Mine Heritage Park this spectacular shoot was inspired by the cool shift in seasons and the centrepiece idea of an age-old solstice feast, luxe textures and the romance of the industrial paina of age 'Wintertide', is an indulgent celebration of abundance in all it's glorious forms.

The days intimate moment were meticulously and loving captured through the eyes and lense of the incredible Lina Hayes Photography and forever immortalized the iconic style of the teams stunning bride Nicole. Adorned in a divine Wolf & Bone (now Clara White) Bridal creation she was accessorized with modern edgy boots and a stunning caramel coloured cape her stunning bridal glow wasn't brought about by the freezing temperatures but rather the immaculate work of Emma the teams incredible hair and makeup stylist who creative a magical soft, natural and effortless chic look. The teams groom Lachlan cut a rather suave figure in a svelte velvet suit and loafers that was paired with one of the most enchanting buttonholes we have seen crafted by Tegan of The Lillipillian.

The deep moody tone was by the stationery, created by stationer Lorelie of Studio B. Couture and was a luscious ode to the season that was highlighted by stunning rose gold embossed lettering on rich black cardstock with softly torn edges, packaged in a custom created warm grey envelope with a moody plum toned watercolour liner.

Libby from E Squared Design Co. luxe sweetheart tablescape styling played with the idea of contrasting textures. Adorned in soft cascading linens, crystal, gold, worn wood and abundant soft candlelight (a constant right across the space) the dining space was filled with an abundance of the seasons best textured jewel toned blooms, that were expertly manipulated into a stunning and enchanting floral cascade by the teams floral designer Tegan of The Lillipillian.

The team featured an intimate ceremony underneath a floating plume of purple floral mist, a monumental white balloon installation, cascading tapestries and vintage machinery, the finishing touch and the piece de resistance in our opinion however was the overflowing feast, by E Squared Design Co, that lay spread out inspired but the indulgent feasts depicted by the Dutch Masters, which sat atop an old coal cart.

This stunning shoot really is one that needs to be seen to believed!
